David D’Antoine

    WNAC Operations Manager

David D’Antoine was born in Derby in 1961. He went to school at Derby District High until year 5, south to Bridgetown for two (2) years and finally Geraldton for five (5) years where he completed his secondary education (year 12). David then moved to Perth for five (5) years and completed his Trade Certificate. The first half of David’s working life was spent working in his trade in mining environments. In the second half he has worked in Indigenous Affairs in middle management, predominantly in Community Development and Community Housing. David was recruited to Winun Ngari in mid-2015 and plans to spend at least the next five (5) years with the corporation.  When he first started David was the Program Manager of the RSAS Program; being very passionate about children receiving a good education as he believes it will create a positive future for Derby and its Indigenous People. David then stepped into the role of WNAC Operations Manager supporting the CEO.  In this role David is accountable for the WNAC operations, and the managers of Employment Services, Money Management and RSAS report into him. David is a father of three (3), a grandfather to three (3) children (so far) and comes from a large local family within the West Kimberley region.  A local, David is passionate about and has a connection to the land and sea; he loves fishing, boating and exploring the country.
